"CATHARSIS"
An exhibition showcasing artists' personal stories on mental health.
Proudly curated by local illustrator, Sarah Thursday, Catharsis is a collective art exhibition where 15 artists express their deepest emotions and mental struggles through art. We hope to connect with others through our works and that our stories may help others feel less alone in their struggles of life.
At this show, we strive to encourage people to find healing to their mental wounds through sharing of experiences and their pains. By sparking more conversations, we aim to fight the negative stigma of mental health conditions, and bring about a closer understanding of mental health and illness to the society.
Our wish is for Singapore to be a more supportive, understanding and gracious society for everyone, especially for those who are struggling with mental health conditions. Catharsis is our approach on helping Singapore become a safer space and help others on their journey of having better mental health.
